Work!!

Work! Work! Start at the bottom and work up.  Let's make our work pleasant.  Some days are hard ones, but if we get busy and go at it, they are not so bad.  Hollering about work does no work, but makes trouble and sounds bad to customers.  Some days are not so busy, then we can slow down and take it easier.   When there's work, let do it cheerful and see if it isn't easier.  Work is the secret to your success and mine.  If you can do your work easier and better than the other fellow, you can hold your job, work higher, and can find work anywhere.  If you don't like your work you are now doing, get a job you enjoy and take an interest in.

No business was made by not working, but made by someone's hard work.  When a customer comes in, drop your work, be friendly and make him feel welcome.  Give him service, don't keep him waiting.  Love your enemies.   You can never get a customer back by rubbing it in or by wise cracks.  Treat him just as though nothing had ever happened.  Too much talking gets in the nine hole every time.  A wise man listens, a fool talks on and on.  Talking about someone generally gets back to him and only harm is gained.  Let's make everyone friends!

No business will grow unless you push it.  Let's make new records again in 1943 by work and service!  No business stands still, you either go ahead or backward.  Our motto..."Higher Still".........Gold is where you find it!
